Cheer for SME Segment as Nildram Launches Two Business Broadband Packages

Nildram, the UK internet service provider has released two new packages for businesses, specifically for the small and medium enterprise segment. The packages are available on a 1 year contract basis, just like any other business package from Nildram.

The first package, being marketed as ‘Enhanced Upstream’ will suit the needs of design companies as well as those in the media industry who need a high-speed upstream data transfer. The broadband internet package, which starts at £19.50 per month, will offer a 16 Mbps download speed as well as up to 2.5 Mbps upload speed. The package will also offer 100Mb webspace and unlimited data transfer. Customers can also opt for a minimum download speed guarantee of up to 500 Kbps at an extra price. The package will attract an installation charge of £80.

The second package, SDSL (M), a symmetric DSL connection is also being offered in four different speeds at 512Kb, 1Mb, 1.5Mb and 2Mb. The speed will be the same for both download and upload. To enable trust in the service reliability, Nildram is offering one month’s connection fee as refund if any service issues are not resolved within 10 hours. This puts pressure on BT’s competing SDSL service, as well as its leased line service. The SDSL (M) package will start from £59 per month and the price will go up with the speed being opted for.
