Androgenic Alopecia (Baldness) and Hair Systems

Posted by admin in Be A Beauty

Hair loss is a typical affliction among young men in their 20s and 30s. However usual, it’s no less traumatic for the individual concerned. The balding process is usually the first sign the person is ageing, and can occur as early as just 16 or 17 years old, giving rise to depression and social anxiety. While people tend to see baldness as normal, it’s no joke when it’s you suffering from going bald.

Androgenic alopecia bears upon men in various ways. Some do not suffer any type of balding process til later on in life. Others experience the usual balding pattern : a gentle losing of hair at the temples. Other male balding patterns include the crown first, or a quick thinning out of all hair.

If every man went bald at the same rate in the same way, it could be contended that we wouldn’t see it as so agonising. However, it’s the variety of balding patterns and rate in how they happen (from individual to individual) which causes many individuals to feel rather insecure and simply unlucky if they experience particularly rapid forms of baldness.

Browsing the internet, you would think there’s a variety of simple cures to baldness. Just apply X spray or eat Y tablets per day, and your hair will magically grow back. Sure, there are creams and lotions that give the appearance of thicker hair, and medications that can slow the process of balding slightly, but there is no real cure to hair loss - no magic supplement that individuals can use to absolutely guarantee hair regrowth, or even the prevent baldness.

But there is a solution. There are hair systems, or toupees that men can wear to cover up their bald spots. These hairpieces can be prepared in accordance to their hair colour and type of balding pattern. Scrutinising such a toupee being worn, it’s often hard to see that there is indeed a toupee fitted. If wearing a hair system makes you feel confident when you would have otherwise been anxious, then it’s a good idea to get one.
