Bingo managers sometimes run into problems with bingo players having duplicate bingo cards. This can be a real problem because players that win with duplicate bingo faces will have to split their prize with another bingo player who is playing the exact same bingo card as them. Not only this, but sometimes duplicate bingo books can cause players to suspect cheating where none exists. So, duplicate bingo faces is something every bingo chairperson should avoid.
How to Avoid Duplicate Bingo Cards with Collated Bingo Paper (Bingo Books)
First, some information on how collated bingo paper (bingo books) are manufactured.
Collated bingo paper (differently colored bingo sheets glued together to form a bingo book) is manufactured in a variety of “series”, or numerical sequences of 9,000 different bingo faces. Each series is formed into “sets” of collated bingo books . Each set of collated bingo books is broken into numbered boxes, for example 1 of 4, 2 of 4, 3 of 4, and 4 of 4. (NOTE: the number of boxes per set can vary, but we will use 4 boxes for this example)
To avoid duplicate bingo cards with collated bingo books, you should:
1. Locate your box numbers of collated bingo books before your bingo. Then, make sure that you are rotating through the different boxes. (NOTE: It doesn’t matter if you use box 1 of 4 and then 3 of 4 and then 4 of 4 and then back to 2 of 4. It only matters that the next box you use is different from all other boxes used in the same bingo)
2. Order your bingo books by the set only, not by individual boxes. If you order individual boxes of collated bingo cards, you’re more likely to receive box 1 of 4 with this order and again with the next order. By ordering a complete set of collated bingo paper (all 4 boxes), you will receive all of the boxes within a set and you can make sure that you are rotating properly through them.
If, due to space constraints, you can’t order an entire set of books at a time, at least try to order more than 1 box.
Texas Hold ‘Em poker tournaments are contests of elimination. Every player wants to get as many chips as possible, and also wants every other player to be knocked out of the game. The goal is basically to kill every other player and be left the last one standing with all the chips.
On tactic for eliminating another player and building your chip stack is to isolate an opponent into a heads-up contest. This can happen when a player, with a smaller chip stack, goes all-in. This presents an opportunity to a big stack player who has strong cards to raise the all-in bet. The tactic is used to keep any other players from entering the fray so it becomes a heads-up match between the small stack and the raiser.
When a short stack goes all-in, it is often with marginal cards. A short stack poker player really has only one move to make, and must do so whenever any type of high ranking or suited cards come their way.
By isolating the short stack, you only put a small percentage of your chips at stake and could add more chips to your arsenal. More importantly, you might eliminate a player, bringing you closer to the prize money or advancing your winning place up one notch.
When you see a player make an isolation move, get out of the way unless you have a huge monster hand yourself. You can just sit back, do nothing and possibly advance in the poker tournament without taking any risk.
You’re in position with AQd on the cut off. UTG raises to 4x the big blind and you simply call. You have position as the dealer folds, but the small blind calls. The flop comes 8c-Kd-Qs rainbow. You now have second pair with the nut kicker and a backdoor runner flush draw.
The SB checks and the UTG raiser fires off a pot sized continuation bet as is expected. Now, with second pair you’re looking ok here. You probably don’t have the best online poker hand, but you can call safely depending on the type of player you’re against. If you’re against a robot like player, your call may not mean much, but if you’re against a thinking player, your call may mean intense strength in the hand.
The turn comes Kh, giving your two pair, but destroying your flush possibility. However it’s a good card for you still. Its considered a scare card, and here’s where we get into the info gathering. If your opponent bets hard, it’s quite likely he has the K. But he checked. So what does that tell you? Well either he’s slowplaying his K or he doensn’t have it. This is why you’re going to make a bet here. You have the power, with his check to set the price of your own showdown. So a small bet, about 2/3 of the pot will give him the opportunity to reveal the true strength of his hand and reraise you, or just call you and reveal that he is scared of the king. Most likely you can put your opponent on a draw when they just call here. It’s not likely he’d continue to check and let you bet with a straight possibility out there, open-ended and likely to hit 40 percent of the time.
So you’ve value bet your Q and overrepresented your hand on the turn. You got the info you needed, and you put it in his head that he may need to back off of the aggression. Essentially you stifled a bet from him on the river and ended up giving him only a shred of hope to beat your poker hand.
Since he checks on the river, you can safely check behind if the river comes innocuous or not, since you’re not sure you have the best hand here anyway. All you were wanting to do is not lose value, while at the same time protect yourself from the danger of him having trips here. And you do that by overbetting your hand on the turn to garner information and get value when he decides to call with weaker hands. Keep this in mind when you visit a casino online.
Heroes a science fiction television drama series that originally aired in America. it is basically about modern day humans who gain super human abilities and then have to deal with prejudice and hate from the rest of the world while trying to save it from destruction at the same time. it was both created and written by Tim Kring and stars many actors such as Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimigilla.
Heroes is a very unique TV show which makes it popular in both America and the rest of the world. It has over 13 main characters of different races possessing a variety of super powers. This some say, is the key to the show’s success as it appeals to all races whether you’re black, white, Asian, Latin American, etc.
Heroes is a serial saga about people all over the world discovering that they have superpowers and trying to deal with how this change affects their lives. Some of the superheroes who will be introduced to the viewing audience include Peter Petrelli, an almost 30-something male nurse who suspects he might be able to fly, Isaac Mendez, a 28-year-old junkie who has the ability to paint images of the future when he is high, Niki Sanders, a 33-year-old Las Vegas showgirl who begins seeing strange things in mirrors, Hiro Nakamura, a 24-year-old Japanese comic-book geek who literally makes time stand still, D.L. Hawkins, a 31-year-old inmate who can walk through walls, Matt Parkman, a beat cop who can hear other people’s thoughts, and Claire Bennet, a 17-year-old cheerleader who defies death at every turn. As the viewing audience is discovering the nature of each hero’s powers, the heroes themselves are discovering what having superpowers means to them as well as the larger picture of where their superpowers come from. The plot thickens and becomes more interesting as they find out that there are evil heroes as well who are trying to utilize their powers for ulterior motives. The ultimate destiny however, for all the heroes, is nothing less than saving the world.
Tells. Tells. Tells. Oh the ringing of the Tells. Meet Joe Navarro. A former FBI agent turned poker online instructor. He teaches live game tell reading, and he’s good. Get dealt pocket aces, watch those eyes, they may dilate a little giving your monster away and keeping it from hiding under the bet. What about that furrowed brow, or unconscious sigh you let out, could let your opponents know you don’t like your hold cards and ruin your poker online bluff you had planned. Maybe you just can’t wait to make that bet on the turn, you’re not shaking or moving, but your nostrils, they’re flaring like a bull ready to charge, and the guy you were about to take money from premature folds. Of course, while some of these actions are invonluntary, some of them can be used consciously. Or perhaps, you just can’t bring yourself to wear a hat and glasses, then you’ll need some discipline. Take Chris “Jesus” Ferguson, he does the exact, and I mean exact same thing every hand. You think he did this just by accident. No, he’s practiced, and gotten into the habit of doing the exact same thing regardless of his poker online hands, from how he grabs his chips, to how he looks at his cards, to his posture, to his voice tone. Just remember, it’s the tells, especially that face that can make or break your game, so work hard to get them under control and become like the “Jesus,” and make your miracles happen.
Almost daily I meet a recreational bowler hoping to approach the game of bowling with improved precision and consistency. Should that be your goal, you’ve stumbled upon a critical time in learning the game as a dedicated bowling competitor. My “Next Steps” handbook to bowling perfection can help get you there. Professionals from a nearby bowling pro shop want you develop bowling talent. A wise bowling wizard once said: you get back what you put in (from the ball return - hah). Just kidding. Okay, if only it were that simple. No worry, we can get you bowling your way.
First, buy your own the specialized equipment at your bowling pro shop! Rentals and house balls suck. I promise, get your favorite ball drilled for custom finger holes, and you can make more of your practice time. A precision weighted bowling ball can make a substantial improvement in your game. It’s also important you’re benefiting from well-made bowling shoes which don’t stink like desanitizer
Now that you went ahead and purchased your bowling ball and shoes, here’s the second best bowling tip: how to aim. While you wait to roll, don’t necessarily roll the ball at the pins. Line up using the arrows like a gunsight. Why, you ask? It’s less difficult to hit a an aid marker a good deal nearer. To take full advantage, it should be your habit to aim from the exact spot on the wood every approach. If you do it the same every time you can make small adjustements on your accuracy and angle.
What about hooks, for ball handling and velocity? Indeed, this is the third-most essential bowler tip. They get traction with the specialized bowling ball. Many even semi-pro bowlers travel with two or three bowling balls to pull off aggressive hooks, selected precisely for the type of game and lane. Just a bit of caution: greenhorns should keep it simple, and steer clear of a ball that is too heavy for you. Many avid bowlers roll bowling balls with synthetic expert grip. However you should know these pro bowling balls often make even some well known players look foolish. That’s our first 3 bowling tips. A pro from our bowling shop will return next month.

poker is almost as much fun to watch as it is to play at the casino. Fortunately there are plenty of shows and films available for people who aren’t playing to enjoy, but there is a dark side to the film version of the game-it only shows the most exciting moments. Most screen representations of the game only show the huge hands, the gutsiest bluffs, the nail-biting head’s up showdowns. While this makes for great television, it leaves viewers with unrealistic expectations of poker.
A big misconception that people can make from watching poker on television is that when you play, you’ll usually have to outplay a single opponent. You’ll often see two guys going head to head at a poker table, and man players will go to a table ready to bluff their way to the final table. The problem with that line of thinking is that more often than not, you’ll be facing several opponents in a given hand, and that huge bluff you planned on making probably won’t work against more than one or maybe two opponents. When you face up against multiple opponents, you have to rely less on bluffing and more on strategies that will be effective against a crowd.

If you get a great starting poker hand, traditional wisdom says to protect it with a big pre-flop raise. With a large pre-flop raise, you usually scare off the mediocre hands at the casino that might suck out on you. It also gives you good idea of what anyone who calls you may have.
But every now and then it can be beneficial to go against conventional wisdom. Calling with A-K may keep the pot smaller and it won’t provide you with an idea of what your opponents have, but it will keep everyone else in the dark about what you have. It will also protect you from a dead flop.
A-K has a lot of potential as a starting poker hand, but keep in mind that it’s still a drawing hand. If the flop doesn’t hit, you’ve got nothing, but your bet was minimal, so you didn’t lose much. But if the flop has an Ace or a King, you can count on having the best hand, and no one will be the wiser, and you’ll be in a great position if someone tries to buy the pot.
Checking with the Ace-King keeps your investment at a minimum if the flop kills your hand, but maintains a decent payout if the flop works your way.
Here’s a fun little way to scare your poker opponents and build up your chip stack: continuation betting. It’s a solid psychological bluff when used properly and it’s a good way to irk your fellow players into playing foolishly against you.
The key is one of my favorite poker moves-the pre-flop raise. If you’re the first to raise before the flop, the other players at the table will have to assume that you’ve got a pretty strong hand. More often than not, you will chase out most of the other players, and those that are in the hand are showing that their cards are good enough to play as well.
Now here’s the key-after the flop, take a look at the community cards. Don’t worry if you missed the flop-if there aren’t any straight or flush draws out there for someone to gamble on and the bet has been checked to you, raise half the pot. It’s a big enough bet to continue the illusion that you’ve got a strong hand, and it’s small enough to not cripple you should someone actually have the cards to beat you and call or re-raise.
Chances are you’ll take down a decent size pot, and you’ll have the others wondering what you’re up to, and it’s always good to keep them guessing in the game of poker
